Coming to art from a technical background, I came to understand that an artist’s voice is not fixed or immediately knowable. While each series of work may develop its own visual coherence, a deeper voice emerges gradually through personal experience, sustained artistic exploration. and the passage of time.
This is an early series, using asemic writing to express the intangible voice in each of us, painted as I contemplated what I was wanting to say in my painting.
