Artist’s Statement

I am a dedicated landscape photographer. My work is deeply rooted in personal experience and artistic evolution. Transitioning from traditional realistic photography to more expressive, artistic forms, I combine both old and new techniques to create images that resonate with my personal journey and connection in nature.

My “Grasses” series exemplifies this approach, featuring images crafted from multiple exposures captured during explorations of prairies and deserts. Each piece serves as a visual reminder of  memories and experiences, inviting others to engage with the words embedded within the landscapes.

My artistic journey is characterized by a continuous search for personal expression and mastery of my craft. I reflect on the evolution of my work from a technical professional to an artist, emphasizing the fulfillment found in creative expression over mere technical proficiency.
